I was in search for a USB disc drive to use with my computer, a computer that does not have a disc drive. I spent a lot of time looking on Amazon, and soon realized that the majority of disc drives advertised did not have a good performance record after reading the many reviews on the sight.

One however stood out to me. It was the Roofull ECD829Y. I bought it and it worked very well for me in installing software and viewing or listening to other discs I had. After a short time however, it stopped playing. As it turned out, it was a software issue, not the drive’s fault.
