    Was not expecting much from this for being so small and cheap (price). Once it came though it was quieter than my older pc that had an internal CD reader I used to burn CDs to flac. It also ripped the CD faster than my old PC.. Only reason I bought this is because I am selling my old PC and my newer one doesnt have the option to have an internal disk reader. If you rip cds a lot like I do, this is great! I havent used it much for DVDs but CDs are a just fine!

    Nice product，I’ve not needed to supply it with external power, as it gets sufficient power from the USB-C connection on my MacBook Pro laptop. I’ve also used it on my older 2013 MacBook without any problems. Having the flexibility of using either USB connection available on the integrated cable, without needing another adapter cable, is very convenient and practical.
