I have a new (less than one year old) MacBook Air. It took some effort to get the ROOFULL to appear on the Mac desktop. The support from ROOFULL was very prompt, but I actually stumbled upon the solution myself just before initiating a return. The ROOFULL external drive only worked for me when I plugged it into a USB C hub and then into the Apple Mac. It then worked great. So not exactly plug and play for me. I would have given 5 stars if not for this challenge.

After careful research into external drives for my PC, I chose the ROOFULL New USB 3.0 External CD DVD Drive with Ethernet Adapter. After ordering I quickly was contacted by the seller with the link for a manual for the product. When I received the drive, the manual quickly became very handy as I had hooked it up incorrectly due to my haste to use it. Once that was sorted out, I quickly ripped a CD onto my computer with no problems. I haven’t used all the features yet, but I do not anticipate any problems. The customer service has already proved to be excellent which is comforting to know should any issues pop up. I would definitely recommend this external drive!

I was a little nervous about ordering this, since it was going to be connected to a MAC computer. When I received it, I opened it, connected to the Mac and it worked great. I can listen to music, look at pictures and enjoy a DVD. The case it comes in is very nice and padded. I rarely rate a purchase with Five Stars, but this definitely is a five star product.
