I needed an external CD drive for a new laptop. The description for this one met all of my needs and there were plenty of positive reviews. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. The drive comes with two USB cables; one that is attached to the drive and securely fits in a groove on the bottom of the drive. Very convenient! I plugged it in for the first time and within five seconds it was ready to rip. I ripped four CDs into my ITunes folder the first time I used the device and there were no issues. The drive also comes with a very nice, well padded carrying case that has a zippered pouch on it to store the paperwork and spare USB cable. I wasn’t expecting that. It makes it so much easier to carry around and travel with. If you are looking for a reasonably priced CD drive, look no further, this one is great!

The reader was as described, next day delivery – packaged well. Also, the PDF manuals were made available with lots of information and support to get the most out of using the reader. Used it already and works well.

I bought the Roofull External DVD-RW Drive to watch the DVD versions of the TV series LANDMAN. It comes in a nice soft-sided carrying case that zips closed. An external pocket on the case contains a connecting cord that has a USB 3.0 connector on one end and a USB-C connector on the other end. That small pocket also zips closed. I did not need that cord, as a connecting cord is already attached to the player–this cord folds neatly into a slot on the bottom of the player. The connecting cord has both a USB 3.0 connector and a USB-C connector on it. I used the USB-C connector since I could set the DVD player right next to my laptop, which is a Dell 13″ XPS computer. I called up a DVD player app; inserted the DVD of the series in the player; and the episodes displayed immediately on the laptop screen. I clicked on the episode I wanted, and the player started immediately. The player worked perfectly and was very easy to connect to the laptop. I was extremely satisfied with the purchase–good value for the price.

I bought this in February. Inexpensive. Lightweight. Simple to use; just plug it in with the provided usb/usb-c cord & it boots right up. E-mailed the manufacturer (per insert in the box) & received a 2 year warranty. Happy with the purchase.

Delivered on time. Reasonable cost. Has two connectors USB A and USB 3.0 on the cable from the DVD player to connect to the computer. I couldn’t get it to mount initially but it was user error, I hadn’t seated the DVD properly. Once I realized that it worked perfectly as a plug and play.
