I recommend this product. Bought one in Dec 2025, returning now to get a second one for the bedroom since I know it’s reliable. If we’re watching TV on the Roku and I put the Nintendo Switch (in sleep mode) back on the dock to charge, it will briefly switch over to the Switch channel and then automatically flip back to Roku after a second. I did notice it doesn’t do that automatically when we’re playing Playstation and I put the Switch on the dock; it flips to Switch channel and we have to manually put it back on the Playstation channel. Of note is that the Roku is not plugged into the switcher, it has its own HDMI port, so that could be a factor. Other than that, no major issues with it, aside from occasionally having to stretch my arm for the box to receive the signal from the remote, but that’s because it’s a bit tucked behind another object. So just make sure the front of the box will be visible from where you’re sitting and you won’t have any issues. For me that’s not a big enough deal to knock off a star, since it seems kind of obvious you might have a problem with reception if you block the receiver. I haven’t noticed any issues with the 4k; we just got a new Sony Bravia 3 TV, which is giving us great picture when playing PS5, so seems fine to me.

This is a great little HDMI switch! I purchased two now for different TVs, and both of them work well. This switch allows for new devices with faster speeds to connect, whereas some older ones do not. We couldn’t connect our Blu-ray player or the Switch 2 to the old HDMI switch, but both devices work perfectly through this one, and my kids like that all they have to do is power on the device they want, and this switch automatically pulls it up on the screen.
